CAREER OPPORTUNITY: HR Officer
Samoa Breweries Limited invites applications from suitable candidates to fill the following challenging job opportunity now available in our Human Resource Department. We are seeking self-motivated and results driven team players to add value towards making a difference in exceeding our consumers and customer needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide HR Support Services to the Human Resource Department towards achievement of its strategic targets for the business.
Maintain good working relationship with customers and workers including all stakeholders.
Arrange and take part in recruitment and selection process.
Work collaboratively with Manager Human Resource in establishing a recruitment pool for quality recruitment.
Co-ordinate the Training Needs Analysis exercise with Management to compile Training Calendar and conduct and facilitate training.
Conduct and facilitate Induction Course for new staff and monitor the Apprentice Training Scheme for all trades
Provide support service in conducting yearly Staff Performance Appraisal.
Assist Management in designing Succession Planning scheme.
Work collaboratively with the HSE Staff & Committee to ensure all staff safety Policies are upheld at all times for the good welfare of all employees
Responsible for implementation of Company polices pertaining to Human Resource issues in consultation with Department managers.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Management (HRM) or equivalent with relevant work experience.
Outgoing with professional customer service and public relations approach.
Fluent in both Samoan and English.
Computer literate – particularly in Microsoft excel, access, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
Competitive remuneration package is offered and is negotiable based on qualifications, experience and skills
for the position.
