IT JOB OPPORTUNITIES

We are seeking experienced, highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our IT Department at Ah Liki Wholesale Company. Well organized, detail-oriented and excellent work ethics is a must.


 

1. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Salary: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per annum

  • The Database Administrator is largely responsible for managing, designing and monitoring operational database services for the organization.
  • The role includes reviewing service related reports relating to database backups and maintenance on daily basis to identify and minimize any potential database issues that may arise.
  • Ability to work closely with the Financial Controller or Sales Manager in developing and analyzing organizational reporting, both business as usual and new reporting requirements as require through marketing and/or project activity.
  • Must have a fair understanding of other 3rd party reporting tools such Crystal Reports, FRX and BI architectures to transform raw data into meaningful information to enable more effective strategic and tactical operational insights and decision-making.

 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Install, Configure and Maintain MS SQL servers and databases
  • Keep MS SQL databases up-to-date including testing, patching, upgrades and data migrations
  • Maintain database performance, maintenance procedures, backup recovery and restoration procedures (DRB) with proper documentation
  • Manage database access, security and integrity with proper documentation
  • Ensure that databases and reporting meets user requirements
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes, including data warehouse procedures
  • Test and modify databases to ensure their reliability and continuity
  • Database hygiene including data archiving and capacity/storage planning
  • Take the lead on the database components of projects and troubleshoot database issues to identify/isolate any related vulnerabilities and flaws
  • Ensure database audit trails are identified and documented
  • Liaise with MS Great Plains Consultant, Financial Controller and Sales Manager on any customized reporting requirements
  • Ability to write scripts and codes for data integrations towards Microsoft Dynamics GP, RMS, RMH
  • Ability to think on your feet when general database issues arises

 

Experience/ Education /Knowledge Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information System or related field
  • A Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) – Business Intelligence or Data Management
  • A Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
  • High level experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems 2012 R2, 2016 and/or 2019
  • High level experience with Microsoft SQL Server versions 2014, 2016, 2017 and/or 2019
  • Minimum 5 years of SQL server database experience or database administration experience in a commercial environment or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Transact-SQL
  • Experience with database migration, performance tuning, optimization and setting up database connections
  • Familiar with SQL reporting services including creating, modifying, and managing custom reports
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) software and applications
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Accurate, articulate, common sense driven and precise attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
  • Up-to-date on the latest industry trends and able to articulate technology trends clearly and confidently
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management and staff

 

2. NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
Salary: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per annum

  • The Network Administrator is largely responsible for managing, designing and monitoring all networking infrastructure services of the organization to ensure network availability, reliability and implementing high level network security measures.
  • The role includes supervising IT technicians in daily help desk support and conducting any necessary network maintenance.
  • You must be comfortable in a diverse, fast-paced environment and able to analyze data to translate results into better solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment to ensure 24/7 up time of the organization’s network infrastructure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Systems Administrator and Database Administrator to enable smooth IT operations on a daily basis.

 

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Install and integrate networking hardware and applications both wired and wireless
  • Manage and monitor day-to-day IT network equipment and systems
  • Oversee troubleshooting of all core network equipment and systems
  • Ensure network security access both wired and wireless for all users are evaluated based on required network security requirements.
  • Provide help desk support towards network issues and respond to IT support requests
  • Ability to escalate IT technicians and leverage network resources to support user access
  • Install, configure and maintain firewalls, network switches, wireless Access Points
  • Install, configure and update network security improvements as required and implement Endpoint Security applications and document installation procedures
  • Keep and maintain inventory of networking equipment, software and licenses
  • Ensure high level network security and implement/upgrade new network security measures when required
  • Monitor network performance and reliability (availability, throughput and latency)
  • Modify networking configurations, isolate network vulnerabilities and define network policies and procedures
  • Specify wireless network requirements and design cost effective network solutions
  • Research and make recommendations on latest networking equipment or technologies
  • Ability to think on your feet when general networking issues arises

 

Experience/ Education /Knowledge Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • A Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or CWNA
  • High level hands on experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Server Operating Systems 2012 R2, 2016 and/or 2019
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience in a previous role in commercial environment or equivalent work experience.
  • Solid understanding of Cisco, Meraki, SOPHOS, Mikrotik, Cambium, Mimosa and Aruba network equipment
  • High level experience on Wireless LAN and WWAN design, setup and maintaining of wireless network equipment (WiFi versions 11n, 11ac, 11ax)
  • High level hands on experience on Firewalls, VPN’s, VLANS, Camera NVRs
  • Solid understanding of VoIP systems such as Avaya and Grandstream
  • High level experience in networking management support and updated knowledge of new networking systems and trends
  • Advanced hands on experience with Network Monitoring Tools, MS Active Directory, Domain, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS authentication and NAS devices
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices networking, routing, switching, network cabling and monitoring of the whole network infrastructure
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently – Accurate, articulate, common sense driven and precise attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
